The Drew Billings Foundation reaches 2009 fundraising goal
I am so very very pleased and humbled to announce that The Drew Billings Foundation has reached its 2009 fundraising goal of $5,000. We now have a new web site which has the application for the 2010 Artist’s Grant and are eagerly accepting proposals from now until May 1st, 2010.
The guidelines for the application are below:

A qualifying proposal for funding should include the following:
A 2 page artist’s statement including bios for all involved parties as well as personal mission and artistic goals.
A detailed 2 page outline of the project.
An itemized line budget.
Please do not send any photographs or creative materials pertaining to the project. Proposals must be submitted by mail to the above address. Please include your name, age, address, phone number and email address.
The postmark deadlines for proposals are May 1st, 2010 with notification of award on May 20th, 2010. All artists will be notified via email that their proposals have been received and are under review.
The awarded project is subject to monthly check-ins for the purposes of updating donors.

The Foundation’s grant program is only focused on supporting artists within the United States. We apologize for any inconvenience.
